Live Help Desktop v3.50 Feature Overview

The latest Live Help Messenger Desktop v3.50 release includes many new features to help improve your Live Help chat experience with your web site visitors. The major new features within Live Help v3.50 are outlined below:

	Tagged Responses / Commands
	Chat Window Visitor Alerts

	Sound alerts within the web browser chat window.
	Improved Responses and Settings interface
	Windows 7 Taskbar overlay support and Jumplist support
	Improved detection when the visitor closes the chat window
	Sign-out of the Live Help Messenger Windows application
	Disable Site Visitor Tracking Setting
	Many minor bug fixes and general interface improvements

Tagged Responses

Tagged Responses allow you to quickly access pre-typed commands and responses directly within the chat window. See our Tagged Responses blog entry for further details. Responses are also stored server-side (allowing your operators to access the pre-typed responses within any PC).

Chat Visitor Alerts

Browsing visitor alerts are shown within the operator chat window (allowing you to see when the chatting visitor moves around your web site without leaving the chat window). Please see the screen capture below:

Operator Smilies and Rating Alerts

Rating alerts are shown within the operator chat window (see below).

Chat Rating Alerts / Integrated Smilies / Tabbed Message Alert

Easily add smilies / emoticons from the operator Windows application, with full integration within the chat windows. Furthermore you can easily see within the chat tabs if a message is waiting for your response.

Operator Smilies Support

Development Update: Currently work is being completed on an improved Chat / Visitor History feature for the upcoming v3.60 Live Help release. This upcoming update includes filtering the previous chat history and various other improvements. Stay tuned for future updates regarding the next release.
